Our Alaska Fishing Lodge & Cabins
The Lodge
Nestled amidst a pristine Spruce forest, we have a main lodge, three log guest cabins, a sauna, and various outbuildings. The main lodge boasts a charming dining room, two lounging areas, a well-equipped commercial kitchen and a spacious front porch, perfect for al fresco dining on sunny days. Each building, hand-built by the Randall family beginning in 1970, using local Spruce trees, exudes rustic charm with modern comforts.
Guest Cabins
Immerse yourself in a uniquely authentic Alaskan experience in a log cabin. All three of our guest cabins are private, so you can enjoy the company of your friends or loved ones.
Each of our 3 cozy log cabins is comfortable for 2-5 persons and is tucked away in a beautiful serene Spruce forest, on the edge of a saltwater cove. These spacious cabins offer a retreat, surrounded by a virgin, old-growth forest and the serenity of the protected ocean cove.
Start your day on the deck with a cup of coffee as you watch sea otters swim by or eagles soar overhead. In the evening, it's the perfect place to unwind. Each cabin is spaced with enough distance to ensure privacy and tranquility.
Our Guest Cabins Feature:
- Two bedrooms, a generous living room, and a bathroom with hot running water and shower
- 2 bedrooms each with 1 queen and 1 twin bed, plus a twin-size daybed in the living room
- Adjustable heaters
- We do not mix different parties in the same guest cabin.
*Wireless internet and phone service available at the main lodge
The Main Lodge
Built by our family using Spruce milled on the property, our Main Lodge offers elegance and comfort, a beautiful setting for intimate dinners and relaxed gatherings. Our large windows at our waterfront location offer a view of our bay, creating the perfect ambiance for enjoying delicious food and great conversation.
With a dining room, two lounges, television, and internet access, the Main Lodge serves as the central hub where guests can access amenities at any time. A large deck attached to the Main Lodge serves as an ideal spot to dine al fresco on particularly beautiful days, or as a spot to socialize after an enjoyable day.
We also have a fire pit that has been the heart of many memories here, from storytelling to singing songs and making s'mores.
Meals
Indulge in delicious meals prepared from scratch by our talented chef and kitchen team. Everyday, we curate thoughtfully considered special full course meals for guests. For those who are fishing, some like to have their fresh catch expertly prepared by our chef, which can be arranged with a little advanced notice.
Indulge in our exceptional meals, starting with a hot and delicious breakfast to fuel your excursion. On the boat, enjoy a packed lunch with snacks, freshly baked goods and beverages to keep you satisfied throughout the day. For dinner, savor Alaskan-inspired cuisine, such as fresh-caught fish served over risotto with sage brown butter, prime rib, or other sumptuous options. Complete your dining experience with delicacies like in-house made ice cream or a wild berry tart.
We are attentive to special dietary preferences and allergies, ensuring that all guests’ needs are considered. While we offer complimentary beer and wine with evening meals, please note that we don’t have a liquor license. All guests are encouraged to bring their preferred type and quantities of alcohol which can be purchased the day prior to your arrival here, from the liquor store in the small mall, 1 block from your Kodiak hotel.
Sauna
Relax and rejuvenate in our wood-burning sauna, the ideal retreat after a day of exploration. Take an “ice bath” dip in the nearby water and heat up again in the sauna—whatever your preference, our staff will ensure a blissful experience.
Kayaking
Explore our serene bay, meander along the shores, and discover hidden coves with our kayaks, available upon request. You will see fascinating creatures like jellyfish, starfish, and sea otters from a whole new perspective.
