Breakfast is served at 8 am daily, followed by a briefing with the captain to discuss the day’s goals. Guests then head out on one of our catamaran boats for a day of fishing, sightseeing, or a combination of both. Packed lunches and snacks are provided on the boat, and guests return around 5 pm to unwind before dinner at 6:30 pm. Afterward, guests can enjoy activities like kayaking or using our wood-burning sauna.
Located in Seal Bay on Afognak Island, our lodge is accessible from Kodiak and Homer. Guests typically arrive via chartered floatplane from Kodiak, however, those on the Kenai Peninsula may opt for a direct floatplane from Homer. We recommend lodging in either town the night before your flight to account for potential morning flight delays.
Once we see how many guests will travel on any given date, we’ll reserve the appropriate sized aircraft for you.
We aim for early morning floatplane reservations for our guests to maximize your first day with us. Also, depending on the floatplane service, you may need to have a taxi pick you up from your hotel lobby about 1 hour & 15 minutes prior to flight time.
*While arrivals/departures are possible at other times of day, arriving early ensures you and other guests maximize your time for activities at the lodge or your next destination.
*For larger groups, flying directly from Anchorage to the lodge via floatplane is feasible, albeit costlier, and subject to more weather conditions. Please contact us if you think this arrangement would be beneficial.

We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions, preferences and allergies with advance notice. Due to the remoteness of our lodge, we do require extra time to source ingredients or prepare accordingly.
